08 Shock adjustment

Could one of our 08 owners please scan the shock adjustment page in their owners manual and post it. Thank you. I bought an 08 shock and need a baseline to start with.. Will give the results of this mod on future post !

Your baseline sould start with each adjustment in the middle of it's individual adjustment range. Since preload/sag is a predetermined measurement you are searching for it should be excluded from the trial and error method.

Is the 08 shock a direct replacement on a gen1?

I have not mounted mine yet, but I am told by reliable sources that is the case. Should mount right up with better damping and spring rate.

I can't do a scan but here are some figures. Hope it helps.

Compression rate - 8 clicks out from full stiff; Rebound rate - 12 clicks out from full stiff; spring preload, standard setting spring length 195mm or 7.68 inches.
