00 hayabusa questions

I found a good deal on a 00 Hayabusa i did some research the biggest issue i saw on a 00 Hayabusa was its external fuel pump how hard is it to convert to a 03 fuel system? What other issues are very common for a 00 Hayabusa?

Pre 03 16 bit ECUs are not flashable
The starter upgrade is important, not done it will kick back and crack the cases.
03 have internal fuel pumps eliminating all the problems from 00 to 02
99's have aluminum subframes that can bend.

- ecu is flashable from ´02 on
- starter upgrade? never had issues with that here in germany
- internal pumps - up from ´01
- alu subframes are used in ´99 and ´00 for sure and they don´t bend but they crack / fracture see following brand new pic from 2 days ago

try to get a steel made frame - all problems are solved and the replacement need some 90 minutes - easy work.

next big trouble can be the long studs in the clutch
they have to be glued in with loctite 266 or so or you may get this very expensive horror

Don't cheap out.Spend a few more bucks for a newer model.They are out there. Unless you want a 99 for a museum piece there are no advantages to the early models except maybe a few bucks savings in purchase price which will get eaten up in upgrades. That's just my 2 cents. I've had a 2000,2007,2009 twice,2010.
There are even better upgrades after that.

To my knowledge, its basically bone stock. It only has 8400 miles on it.

most of "the issues" with 99-01's rear their heads when modded

99-00 fuel pump clogging
99-01 non desirable ECU
99-02 less desirable starter setup
99-05? no hazard flashers
99-04? No push to pass High beam button

Someone correct the last two please but I am close
