The reason for the bracket is because the way the tail fits over it. Making the bracket or buying the bracket puts it were it fits without touching the rear tail section! I just did this mod.

I modified my regulator so that it would mount onto the nitrous bottle bracked at the bottom of the arm. Never mount weight high and to the rear if you can help it.

I moved mine to make it easier to adjust the adjustable dog bone links I got. It also keeps the chain wax, dirt ,and water from getting all over it.
