New here, appreciate any advice.
Through a friend, I have found a K9 Gen2 100% stock with +-16,000 miles on the ODO.
The bike has been sitting on stands in a closed attached garage for some time.
Immaculate, not a scratch, bone stock, starts right up, tank seems clean inside. Comes with two pitbull stands.
Owner claims to have worked many years as an auto tech, serviced the bike himself. Oil through the little sight glass looks clean. Brake and clutch fluids look clean. Looked at the coolant through the fairing with a flashlight, looks clean also. Idles smooth. He has the original invoice, owners manual, hump and toolkit. He says it went to the dealer for 3 recalls, clutch and inverter twice.
Owner wants 9,5k for it, not negotiable.
Anything I should look at further, or be cautious about?
My main concern is parts availability for a 17 years old motorcycle?
