New turbo busa for me

I bought my 2nd hayabusa. It a 2018 turbo busa. I did take quit a drive to get the motorcycle. Definitely has some issues with it,but I did ride it for a month before it went to shop. Hopefully once bugs are worked out I can finish the season riding.

Definitely fun and fast. In shop now to get some bugs worked out of it. Rode it for about a month before I took it to a shop.

Has a few boost leaks, needs a tune,and not right spark plugs for setup. Guy working on it has a 650hp turbo busa. He is taking turbo system off,cleaning everything, and reinstalling. Then he putting on dyno with a new tune.

Hi. When I done building mine I am taking it to Powerhouse as he has a 1000HP dyno. I want to see if I can max it out. Custom motor by DME Garrett G 42-1200c turbo with NOS.

Bike went on dyno today. Good news is it ready for pickup. Bad news motorcycle only making 210hp with 6lbs of boost. It has a TD05H-20G turbo on it. May need to get a bigger wastegate spring to increase power

If the engine has a spacer plate and it to lower the compression ratio, then 210 horsepower on 6 psi is about right. Give or take a few horsepower with zero PSI and a low compression ratio, the engine would make somewhere around 140 horsepower.

If I add a 11lb or 14lb wastegate spring what is the expected horsepower?

For every 14psi, the HP is 1x more. So at 14 it should be about 280, at 28psi it would be about 420.

However the problem we run into this if the turbo is a little small it will not efficiently make the higher level horsepowers. So the numbers above are in a perfect world.
