With any luck if the current president loses the election he concedes with dignity and pride-not having to be escorted out of the White House wearing a spit mask and handcuffs...

I can only imagine how nasty the hand-over of power will be....

If he shows strength he probably stands a good chance of running again, seeing how loyal his followers are. To some of us that's scary but a real possibility.

For anyone feeling bummed about the election, Trump isn't going anywhere. Out of office sure. But permanently engrained into the fabric of American politics. Like Sara Palin started the Tea party movement, Trump will probably start the Q movement. That should be fun! He is an entertainer, a marketing guru, and also a sociopath. He will find his niche with the fringe.

The country has spoken. I hope Trump surprises me but looks like he'll drag this out and drink every bit of presidential exposure he can. IMO it's a slap to our country's electoral procedure and our faith in democracy, but keeping in character he'll probably keep his own self interests first. Voting is like chess, a person must think several moves ahead. I don't follow party lines, but getting Trump out of office is a great move. There are several much better Republican options for the future.

you know it was over for Trump a year ago when he employed this person as some sort of Pastor to the White house who talks in Tongues

Maybe he was going after the young hip urban millennial vote.

Trump finds himself more important than the 45 previous presidents. No surprise there. 4 and a quarter million more votes for Biden but he can't dare to look. He'd sooner turn our electoral process into a BS reality TV show. Again, no surprise. I've thought all along that he would eventually cause his own demise and now as a grand finale he's burning any bridge he may have had to make a future run.
He's an embarrassment not just to the US but to the whole world.

So we're always hearing about the poor state of medicare in the US yet they have thousands of people between the ages of 120 and 170 still alive and voting. I'd really like to know more about these people's lifestyles and the secrets to their longevity.

There will be all kinds of these conspiracy theorists going crazy now....

Even we in Canada know how guarded the electoral process is in the the US...this isn't taken lightly nor is it something they play with....much like our own elections....

When there's two people running there is a 50% chance one will lose....

A conspiracy theory is no longer a theory when proof is discovered

As you and I are not part of the election counting process and are not privy to the inter workings of the process we can only speculate if this is actual proof or not.

I honestly can't see one of the parties conducting this sort of thing as they are closely scrutinized by a lot of people from both parties and a neutral observer team.

As much as anyone else, I want to have faith in democracy but there is so much speculation, disinformation and general murkiness to this whole situation that I can't help but be suspicious.
