Well, it looks like I'm gonna have to drop my budget to 7k. :banghead:

Gen 1 for me it is! Looking at a nice 06 in Kansas City for 6700.

Man up and get some protection for your legs and over the ankle boots, and you have my approval. :laugh:

I gotta second kml on this one...I got into a wreck on the freeway last november; was just minding my business and had an SUV turn into me...I'm still dealing with a pretty badly sprained ankle from it, and I was wearing over the ankle leather boots at the time. I also had a friend that went down on his 600 at around 30mph, and almost lost his foot...was wearing sneakers at the time. Safety is worth a little loss of comfort, my friend. :)

A shame that '08 went. I would have jumped on it. If anyone knows of a Gen II within a day's drive of Iowa for 8kish, let me know. :whistle:

Be patient, one will turn up.
Nothing at all wrong with a gen1, but with $7500 to spend, I'de most definately wait for a good gen2.

Got my 09 with 3K original miles for $6500. Keep looking and keep a positive attitude. Thats what will put it in your driveway.
