Got a skiff like that last week but it has melted and was 10 celcius (50 degrees F)yesterday!
Anytime now we are done too.

I don't mind anything over 12 C but under it I just don't enjoy riding.

Ah well, come spring we'll appreciate our bikes more! ;-)

Yesterday I rode in, it was 21 degrees outside. ( many thought I was nuts - I'm not arguing that )
Today I woke up to freezing rain, so I figure that is finally the end of the riding season for me.
It's a sad sad day.

Yeah, don't think your going to see a Busa (or any sport-bike for that matter) on an ice track/frozen lake. Center of balance is way off, too much weight on the front wheel for this type of thing...

Although (right after the butt puckering subsided!!) on the few 'accidental' power-slides I've done it was a pretty good rush! ;-)

My take on our 9 months of winter and 3 months of bad skating is akin to how a starving man given a cracker thinks it's the best damn cracker he's ever had.

Up here we don't (or can't) ride year round so the novelty never wears thin. Come spring I'll have get used to the Busa, kinda like breaking it out for the first time all over again.

...At least that's how I deal with not being able to ride year round ;-)
