I love the m109...but the yam star/warrior has alot of after market things for it....fatty kits and all

...Just buy both and get a discount.![]()

My wife swears that there is a rule somewhere that says I am only allowed to own ONE bike at a time
![]()

NOPE! sorry to get you all excited, no more busa-goodies for me; thinkn of getting either a Zuki M109r or the Yamaha/Star Raven, both big-twin bikes built for cruisin, which is all i'd use it for...take the kids or the wife out, go to work, etc.
want to make the busa a strictly scare-tha-shid-outta-u-fast bike for LSR and 1/4 racing but keep it street legal so I can use it to make lightning-fast video rentals from Blockbuster
anyone here have experience with either? or both?? interested to hear likes/dislikes of the models...
we all know what 109r looks like, so here's tha Yammie:

Jeez... doesn't Yammie have an original thought? With all their other great bikes and engineering why do they have to copy Harley? Don't mean to start the battle, but come on Yamaha? I don't think they've been that blatant since the Virago.
I'm not talking about price and engineering. I'm talking about aesthetics. I've ridden and built Harley's for 15+ years, but last year I went with the Busa and have no regrets. I've put 8,500 incident free miles on mine this year already. Price is one of the major factors that made me convert. For less than 10 grand I got one of the best engineered bikes in the world. With Harley, well... they sell an image and lifestyle and concentrate less on the bike. I used to have my ignition cover w/ the HD installed upside down as a silent protest... They forgot about their customers a long time ago.Copy the Harley...they beat the hell of a harley. Harley's overpriced
pay for the name, underpowered, underegineered name plate leaves the door
wide open for improvements and contenders. And lets just say...Harley
is at the rear of the pack.
All of this after the big fuss about cruisers (harleys) making noise huh?
If you cant beat em join em'
j/k
go with the 9

my daughter really digs the sound of v-twins n I know she'd ride either one. The insurance on those is also actually attainable for me...I can still hear the guy from AllState laughing at me thru the phone when I called for a quote on the Busa
but my record has cleaned up a lil too so these shud be much cheaper to cover.I love the m109...but the yam star/warrior has alot of after market things for it....fatty kits and all![]()

I kinda agree with you on the 109 styling and the massive gap above the front cylinder on the raider (that bugs me to)...can't say the same for the Victory...don't really mine the cover, heck it blends in so well I never noticed it.
As far as the 109...should also consider
That IS A CRUISER
They also supposedly retuned that beast of an engine for
MORE lower end torque
Can't wait to ride one in OCTOBER (Can't get here fast enough)

Sorry, here you go.

We were asked for an opinion, and that's mine. It looks like they ripped off a Harley on that model.
or less....
