Honestly I think Bots has the right idea. For some reason we keep thinking we can change what is wrong with our country every four years. The truth is these corrupt politicians will keep doing the same thing until a message is sent. As long as there are only two choices we will always lose.

Think about it, if every election more people write in or don't vote for one of the two parties, eventually we will have a viable third, fourth or even fifth choice. 1,000,000 votes this year, 4,000,000 votes next election and so-on. But if we keep thinking we only have to choose between the lesser of two evils, that's all we will ever get.

I will follow the GSXRBOTS revolution.:bowdown::bowdown:

Schexy, that's why I think the Tea Party might be the savior of the Nation. I don't think they are very fond of the standard RHINO Republican Party line either, yet their view more closely match the conservatives than the liberals.

Skydivr, WE think the Tea Party is the savior, and THEY think the Occupiers are the saviors...

I'm not buying into any of it anymore.. They both think their side can do no wrong and the other only does wrong.

Just getting sick of the "party" life. We need "ground up" type help for our country, and the only candidate that I think will actually TRY to do that is Ron Paul... I know I may be drinking the Dr.'s KoolAid, but it tastes real good, and doesn't leave me gassy... :beerchug:

Right now I'm leaning far left! Left of the picture that is :D I've known that the most conservative candidate in the field right now is Santorum. I just didn't think he had the big oomph to push him to the top of the primary. Now he's got my attention. Newt is too up and down. Can't connect with flip floppin' Mitt. Ron is ...uh Ron is just Ron :D

Since when did our votes count? I thought it was all electoral votes these days.

All I know is, everyone I've ever known that was conservative in their fiscal thought had money, and all the 'progressives' were flat broke...

I don't think any of them are perfect, but I think true conservatives can bring us from the brink of bankruptcy. It's not just the POTUS, it's all the other positions he gets to fill. The Captain certainly points the ship "that way", but it's the entire crew that gets it to the destination. If Santorum can build some momentum, he has the cleanest conservative credentials of any of the Republican candidates and I'd certainly vote for him, but he's got some work to do for sure.

Oh, c'mon now.... you know there is NO WAY the mainstream GOP Establishment will allow Santorum the nomination.

No way, no how.... the GOP knows Santorum will be an easy crush by the Libtards. He is too extreme in his social views (dumb as it is to focus on such fluffy, superfluous issues like gay marriage and contraceptives, when there are so many real, *actual* problems the country faces) and the libtards will roast Santorum over a slow-turning spit if he got the nomination.

The Republixtian nation must coalesce around Mittens, and do it soon, if they are even to have a prayer for a GOP win in November. Santorum only guarantees four more Obummer years, just as Gingrich guarantees four more Obummer years. Only Mittens will not guarantee an automatic Obama win, but the other two candidates would surely result in four more Obummer years.

And even if Mittens gets the nod.... the fact of the matter is, he is just not all that well liked among republicans in general (and the extremest Christaliban in particular), so those who watch this process closely can pretty much see the handwriting on the wall... the popular vote might be somewhat close, but the electoral vote is the only one that matters. Barring any serious hiccup over the next 8 months, Obama is likely to take it.
