At work we run 33lbs spools of welding wire on our mig machines(lincoln 0.35 l56 superarc) In my frame areas we generally will run 2 spools per machine per week, for a total of 12 spools a week or 396lbs of welding wire.
For years i have questioned how much actual wire is on a spool, finally got the answer from a lincoln rep who happened to be at the welding store when i was in there today, he made some calls and 25 minutes later we had an answer there is roughly 10,000 feet of wire on a 33lbs spool
