which color do you choose ?

Blue. I would wire with a switch. Kill it when you want.
I even thought of both led colors in there. Then with the flick of a switch. Walla, amber & no ticket.

I really like this mod but wonder if it interferes with night driving....assuming the light is always on. How difficult would it be to integrate into the turn signal circuit so that it flashes along with the turn signal?

its set up now to run with the turn signals.
to put both colors inside it could be done, but you would loose alot of light intensity, the blues are 7000 mcd at 24 per mirror
the orange ambers are 5000 mcd ad 24 per
the blue is awesome at night. very bright in the day also.
