Stretching does not hurt cornering up to a point. It's being lowered that has an effect. I rode behind BigRod with his 330 tired busa set at 8over at a Busa meet where we all rode in the mountains. He was getting it just fine. It's one thing to hate something and it's another to know your facts.

Mostly it comes down to the rider. So if you don't know.....STFU!!

Well said!

To hear someone say that Stretched is " Ghetto " obviously don't know the facts... That word " Ghetto " really bothers me... Watch what you say guys. Your intentions I'm sure are harmless, but you never know who you might offend.

Then you should STFU!! Wheel base changes ALWAYS Affect handling.

I'm at 11" over and it works great for me being 6'8 and all. Plus being turbocharged, it helps a lot at the track..

Stretching I will agree will slow your cornering, not ging to argue that point but all depends on the rider, if you like riding the track and canyon carving then stretched is probably not for you. At the same point if you like to cruise and not the type that drags their knees in corners you probably will no notice as big of a difference.

F'off dude, you've always been a **** with me on here. Try riding a stretched bike in different configurations and get back to me. Your facts IMO are all heresay.

Yes, different lengths change if your being super technical, but the changes were are talking about have minimal effects UP TO A CERTAIN LENGTH. Remember, this isn't MotoGP. This is street bikes where it's more rider skill than the bike itself.

I'm pretty quiet and don't really speak up but to say my ride which I think looks clean looks ghetto doesn't sit well with me! I know and understand that everyone doesn't like what I like but at the same time I wouldn't disrespect someone elses hard work. JMO,

I learned this first hand myself just a few weeks ago. My bike was heavy and fought me through the turns. (7 over, 250 rear) after a ride height adjustment up front it was better, then I did the rear, its a whole new bike in the corners.

Not to throw gas on a anyones fire, but that is my experience on my bike.

I think that the stretched and slammed American Busa's are great.
It gives the rest of the world someone to point and laugh at.....

Yes I have owned long armed bikes.
Built for the strip but ridden there on the street.
Awful. Ruin's a good streetbike.

Carry on, your doing a great job.
Just use lots of chrome, some HUGE fat wheels
and dont forget to post lots of pic's.....

I went by a Busa a couple of weeks ago and it had 2 BACK WHEELS, one in front of the other. I never seen a bike that long before, didn't like it at all.....but that's just me !

bout 12" or so for a big tire, lil less for stock tire, maybe 8-10 for me. once the tire gets out from under the tail it looks pretty ridiculous to me
