Wheel Swap Complete

I traded wheels with a buddy.  I swapped my silver for his black.  I like it.

Never mind all the dirt.



I painted the torque arm too

And cut me some slack on my chicken strips, the new wheels have 8 miles on them since I put em on.

I like it. Another cheap mod you might try is to paint the inside of the spoiler under the bike in front of the rear wheel with the same color black. I did that on my 05 red/black and it looks good. I found that chain lube would make it grungy looking, and the red plastic on the inside was not the same finish as the outside. Nice job!

I plan on doing the same. I have a set of black rims.
Just need to go thru my new rear tire.(First one lasted me almost 7K miles).

This will "force" me to buy a new set of tires, which will go on the black rims.

Did you used a satin black for the brake arm?

Another one I did was paint the caliper hanger black to. You will see the longer you stair at the beautiful brake arm and bleack wheels you will want to paint that aluminum claiper hanger as well. It looks great when you do. Nice job by the way.
