1973 Pontiac Grand Am. First production year of the GA. The car came from the factory as a 400 4 speed, 1 of 149 4 speed GAs built in 1973. The original engine was gone long before I got the car The last owner didn't know what he had and just wanted something to beat on on the drag strip and did go fast mods with a bolt cutter.

It now has the best of what Pontiac (and aftermarket) had to offer.
455 block bored to 462
Ram Air 4 round port heads (aluminum Edelbrock)
1965 Tripower. Has original outer carbs, not modified centers on the ends.
Gear driven camshaft (292/292) and roller rockers
The Muncie M21 4 Speed and Hurst shifter are still there.
The 10 bolt rear end is stamped 3.23 posi. If it isn't the original, its correct for a 4 speed car.

Need to replace the wiring harnesses and its getting a serpentine belt conversion.

As someone who drives a 2005 Z51 Corvette, I don't think I would...

Unless I had the money to burn anyway, but for the money I would get something more refined.

My Z51 is already more or less a track car from the factory, I couldn't imagine what the Hennessy would be like on the streets.
