What do you love about the Busa?

I dont have a Busa yet but hopefully in the near future.

Just wondering what you guys truly love about the Busa? Never mind the crazy power , the looks etc. But, at the end of the day, what do you really love about the bike?

1) that it's mine, ALL MINE! It's my 2nd love (1st is my wife)

2) that it's never let me down. It's been bulletproof.

3) it's just so gorgeous! I almost get jealous it gets so many looks and approving nods

4) it can smoke just about anything else on the road that I'll ever encounter

This is my sixth bike( I know, i'm 21and thats mathematically improbable, get over it ), and until now I was a DIE HARD Yamaha r1 fan.

however, I was told to try a Busa, I like long rides (LONG rides, days, not miles) and low rpms on the highway. I also like to let loose, lay it down in a twistie, and hang the front wheel off the ground for a mile or two.

pretty diverse riding but this bike does it all.

Best long distance comfort out of any bike

PERFECT amount of power if you know how to handle a bike

Extremely stable wheelies despite its heft

and of course, its unmistakeable. No one has ever seen a Busa go by and think hmm I wonder if that was a CBR, Ninja etc. ITS A GOD DAMN HAYABUSA.

and we rule the highways and biways of this great country.

I like to ride all day. The comfort of this bike is incredible.
I also like the respect the bike gets. Except for those stupid kids with Subarus. When are they gonna learn that if I can beat you in my truck, what makes you think you can take the bike?

Well there are many things about the Busa I like

1. It is one of the best looking bikes on the market
2. Handles like a dream
3. Very comfortable on short or long rides
4. The POWER
5. Able to mod the crap out of it
6. Very easy to work on
7. Did I mention the POWER


Over all it is a well versed machine and is able to preform multiple functions

I just finished a 15 hr straight trip on the last day of a five day ride.
I can customize it because there is an endless supply of options out there
I am about to go into the engine because there are many options for go faster parts avaliable from very reputable suppliers.
I still get a big smile everytime I ride.

After having three 600cc sportbikes I was looking for "more" ...
A liter bike would have cured my craving for more power ...
But the 'Busa does much more than just that ...
Better commuter ... and hauls a passenger very well ...
And still hangs with the fast crowd on all the rides I go on ...

I have done VERY little in the way of mods since this bike was born quite close to ideal for the types of riding I like to do .
