Where I live, my driveway has a slight decline to it. I've has 3 different busa's excluding the gen3, it's the 4th busa here at this address and I ALWAYS pull the bike out to the same place from the garage, put the stand down, and have no problem. Now with the gen3, I move it out, the same routine. But, after I put the stand down and make sure it is all the way back. In a second the bike rolls forward and almost falls over. Fortunately, I was close and caught it. So Ok I say Randy, you didn't put the stand all the way back. Three times??? No way, I made sure. Does the gen3 roll easier? Maybe better bearings with less resistance? Tires with less roll resistance? I know that Yokohama tires claim lower rolling resistance, therefore, better mileage. Beats me, man. Now I leave it in the garage where it's level and ride it out from there instead of from the carport with a slight decline. It's crazy man just crazy!!

Simple solution to this one . . . . just buy a Gen 2 side stand and fit it, problem solved.

Seen a good youtuber , Gen 3 owner ( Enviedking ) say he has had something similar happen , with what looks like the Gen 3 new design kickstand is angled even worse than the Gen 2 , so now both might need the kickstand mod .

Well, I'm sure it probably needs the kickstand mod but it might also roll easier. When I got my wheels with the ceramic bearings I noticed the bike wanting to roll off the kickstand at the slightest incline. Now I always park it uphill or flat and always in first gear so the engine will stop a roll.

New bike, new issue....you have to have some sort of a challenge to make things exciting...now you know the bike will roll off it's stand and be prepared to prevent it.

Maybe the pivot point on the side stand is looser/smoother....maybe it needs the "mod", maybe the bike rolls easier (although my gen2 rolls pretty easily).

Same thing happened to me (didn't catch in time unfortunately) I've noticed if I don't clock the bars all the way to the left or right the bike does tend to roll fwd enough to disengage the side stand. Since I've started hard turning the bars I haven't had the issue.

To save that from happening leave bike in first gear any time on incline .

...and roll it forward to get the slack out, and turn the bars left or lock them.
It only took me 3 or 4 gen2 kickstand crashes to get in the habit.

I sit on mine when I'm warming it up....of course I don't idle very long, my warm up is a slow roll through my neighborhood..

After my very first Gen-1 Busa fell over idling in the driveway, I always park them in gear now. Four Busa's later and pretty good luck since...
