It really all comes down to Ohm's law with calculating available power/wattage . . and your 'bank account' analogy was quirky, a good way of explaining the 'grain silo' of available electrons.
The battery is 'the silo' and the stator is the elevator pouring grain in at the top . . with the grain dumping into the trucks underneath as it is required.

Fyi 2.1 amp USB charger is 2.1 x voltage = watts . So 2.1 x 14 volts is 28.2 watts
