Uncrating a new 08

My new black 08 will be here satuday.
Anyone know what needs to be done from uncrating it, to get it to the drivable state. I hope my dealer doesn't hand it over to a school kid who never seen one before.

Not much has to be done...easy! And I'll bet this ain't their first one!!!Relax!

unbolt everything from top to bottom.. no one even touched mine...pulled cardboard off..unbolt top to bottom have extra person for holding bike when you unbolt the side bolts that keep bike upright. pull plastic off seats..
charge battery..fill it with gas..brake and clutch need to be put on windscreen and mirrors will ned to be out on.pull tag off front of cardboard, it has your vin number on it...takes about 40 minutes and relax...lost of cosmoline white grease on bike to protect it from ocean air..looks like scrathces but i have found none on mine. good luck and have a blast....have all warnings removed and all reflectors and fender on back are gone.
