Have already been challenged to go to the local track by a guy with a stretched and piped gsxr1000 says it runs 630's 1/8 unknown quarter I am pretty competant at dragracing have done my share on the track with a few drag bikes and street bikes but have been out of it for a while what are some #'s on the busas 1/8 mile times approx and do I need to do mods to quiet this punk off or can I be competitive stock?

I don't know how much you weight but you should be able to pull 6.30's easy just lowering the bike (if you are 200lbs or less).  Go get him if you can ride....  

 

Ask him to do a 40-roll on with you after the drag race...

I think I am going to lower it for the race and then raise it back up because I like the excitement of the way it corners naturally, but I think I will lower it go out give it a whirl send him packin and go on about my business, I want to have it piped looking for a yosh 77 4-2-1 set up. Has anyone run any 1/8 mile times with an 08 lowered with the yosh or comparable setup, and what were they?
