Hi guys
My back wheel wouldn't spin with bike in gear and clutch in (was trying to bump it) & a friend said sounds like clutch has gone!...well ive started stripping the clutch using the haynes manual and got as far as the clutch plates are out - but the haynes manual goes on about removing bits further in (beyond the clutch plates)? I thought the plates were all that gets replaced? and there doesn't seem to be any sign of wear (but then i dont know what im looking for) -The plates do look blued which the haynes manual says if so are to be replaced but i expected to see something busted lol - question is do i just replace the plates or do i have to strip further (are there other things to replace?) - hope that makes sense? - any advise would be greatly appreciated - thanks

You have to go deeper if your doing basket and everything. If your just doing friction and steels then your as far as you need to go.
