At first I was looking at a open trailer just in case I get a flat or something. Or if I need to drop it off at the shop since I don't like to wait. But after listening to all you high rollers out there maybe I missing something. Are you guys out there doing that much trailering out of state?

I have both open and enclosed. each has advantages and disadvantages. one gets better gas milage One has better security One is easier to move around by hand when empty One lets you carry your stuff inside and out of the tow vehicle
but
Only one can have hangers for leathers and helmets
Only one is a poor mans hotel room in a pinch
Only one is a good substitute for winter storage for those of us who need it :)

Looks like a PITA to set up and tear down, add a few million mosquitoes in the mix and no thank you...
