I have this question, because my girlfriend wants to open carry like me. She does not have a cpl, so there are some restrictions. Wall mart. They sell beer, but does that classify them under the liquor control act? Or is that more of hard liquor?

From what i'm reading about michigan, the Liquor act thing is for anything over 21 percent by vol. Now I know the one by my house does not sell anything that strong.
