You should also start looking to upgrade the exhaust.  Something to let
the cages know you're in the area if ya know what I mean.
I'm looking into into, Big Dawg. I think I have settled on getting a set of slip-ons for now. The full exhaust may come in time, but I don't really need a power increase. Just have to figure out what slip-ons to get!

GUYS/GALS how comfortable are those modified Tobin seats for someone who already fills out the stock seat?

Had my first long ride on them on Sunday and they felt great! I may be a little lighter in the trunk than some, but the feel was very comfortable and fitting!

Those seats are looking nice. Tobin does awesome work, he did mine and matched the orange up awesome. Then I showed a guy down the road the seat and he "had to have it done" he has a 03 like yours and got his seat two tone red and black in the center with silver kanji. I will post some pics of the bike sometime this week.

Thanks, Arey! Thought about going with silver logos and realized I wanted to be a little more subtle.

BigDawg, Tobin makes a seat style just for us called his "Big Guy Cut".  The raised portion at the rear is narrower, giving you more butt room.  I have them and like them a lot.

The only negative I've ever heard about Tobin's seats, and I do experience this myself, is that when stopped with your feet down, you can feel the edges of the flatter seat against your thighs, but it's nothing to be concerned about. What matters is how the work while riding and they are actually more comfortable than the Suzuki gel seat I was using.

got my tobin on tuesday and took it for 100mi ride last night... lower back was sore for the first 50mi cuz it puts a little different pressure where there wasn't before.... last 50mi was great.... no complaints from me. Takin it to the track this weekend to see how much better I like it.

Thanks for the heads up, got my front seat in this week from ebay. Now I need a rear seat, so I can send them and keep my stock seats. Thanks again.

I was looking into getting my seats done, can anyone hook me up with Tobin? I'm thinking of getting the mexican tuck and roll with the fringe hanging off and an embroidered Jesus in the middle. Just joking, but I do need to find Tobin.
