Tire repair or replace

I think I may repair the tire.
A local shop (who did my other bike's tire repair) will charge me $50.
That includes:
Taking off the wheel from the bike
putting a plug AND patch in the tire
balancing the wheel.
installation of the wheel
Lubing the chain and rear suspension

I normally dont do extreme riding but I will make sure to be more cautious.
and I will order a new tire next week.

Welllllllllllll, let me bring out the flame throwers

Been so lucky with the '08, but I had my share of bad luck with the '06. They use to tell me that the front tires stands nails up for the rear  Anyway I use to use fix-a-flat and try to stay out of the triple digits. Never had an issue.

Once I caught a razor blade in a brand new Pilot Power or Power Pilot 2CT; less than 10 miles on it. To much damage for fix-a-flat, put the slime in it and it held, well until I started running 90 on the interstate. Then my rear fender turned green

Flame on my brothers :poke:
