Tire load rating.

Hey guys. I have a question about tire load rating. If a tire has a rating of 75 which is 853lbs, is that the individual tire load rating or the rating as a set? My gut instinct tells me its a individual tire rating but figured I would ask.

With the busa, myself, my wife, our luggage and gear we are easily just over 1,000lbs total weight. Searching for a new set of tires. Either the Q3 or the PR4. Havent decided yet. Wondering how much though to put into the load rating since we do some 2 up touring with bags and gear. But most of my riding is commuting solo to work or canyon / mountain riding on weekends.

The load rating is for that one particular tire, not a set.
