did anyone experience a bike shutdown while riding specially when the rear slips and suddently grip in a turn which would cause the tip over switch to shut down the engine.

This article talk about this problem for the gixxer1000. Is it the same switch for the Busa?

I researched the he77 outa that. When I was having shut down probs with my Bus a while back I questioned wether or not it might be a tip over switch prob. No it wasn't.

I think you have to be a serious track rider, with a major rear wheel traction loss to occur before the T O switch will cause you any grief.

I wouldn't recomend gumming the thing up either. Its there to do a job. Why have yer motor nuke, just 'cause you've layed her down right?

If yer TO switch is faulty...throw it out and buy a new one. They have sealed circuitry, and are an' intrical part of the electrical system. Removing it, or bypassing it will cause yer bike not to start.

Rubb 2 cents...
