well i was trying to make a double point...mabey it should say GET OFF WELFARE AND DO THE JOB ONLY THEY ARE WILLING TO DO...HAVE PRIDE!!

Until the government subsidies (welfare) come down to where it's not as good as working, people will continue to sit on the sidelines and take govt dole rather than work.

After 2 years unemployment benefits, rather than extending, how bout just reducing them 10% a month? Eventually, we will find out at what point people would rather work than collect unemployment......
