Triumph has really pulled their act together. She's a nice looking machine and excellent reviews. Love the grey, go figure.

pure_ego,
If you have the time, I would love to hear what she sounds like. I'm potentially in the market for a new bike, and somebody brought up the triple as a candidate.
Once she's broken in, I would be interested in your thoughts on how she pulls, etc.

Thanks, and congrats!

thats on the short list vman... we gonna hit the grand course at VIR early november man. You should come.

If I can figure out how to get a good recording of the sound I'll post it. It's pretty tame idling around with the factory can of course. Not overly loud or whatnot from what I"ve seen.. just an awesome sound when your in the seat.

I was riding it to the DMV today to get the tags and got mesmerized by simply varying the throttle input from about 1/8 - 1/4 turn.

hahah It sounds just like your standing on the ground and one of those planes I mentioned is flying around overhead doing loops and dives and stuff.

the only prob I've found with it so far is the seat is a PLANK and some excess heat comes up thru the seat. I dont' think I'll notice it with leathers on, but was just in jeans and coat today cuz I snuck away from work to get it titled and such.

The gray is beautiful in person.. the pics don't do that one justice. Sitting beside the red one it just seemed so bland though.

things got more gadgets packed into the instr. cluster I had to break out the owners manual and still ain't got it all figured out.

lap timers, avg. speed, top speed, programmable shift lights (7 seperate leds to program seperately if you want.. why? I don't know) fuel economy, instant fuel econ. and it says "tyres" on the wheels instead of tires.. haha

blimey, a goodly liter of lager up at the jibbet 'n pig would wet me whistle just spot on AH-booot now.

I should get to do a good ride and not be too worried about really crankin it a bit by sunday.

and the coolest part of this whole deal is the wife MADE me keep the 'busa so when she wants to go ridding she can be comfortable.. hahah .. that, my dear fellows, is a KEEPER!

I have Barber November 11th. I am going to try and hit VIR South up again in August, if I get my Busa back in time.

Let me know when you guys are going to VIR again.

I will be at the Gap September 22nd-24th...come on down.

don't forget some of these little jems. Will look great on that Triple..

hogger...
I don't even know what those are....

and besides.... this will be the most anti-bling bike I've ever owned...

probably not gonna do much at all.
