I stopped for a Laughlin-Run Harley guy last week on an offramp with a bad starter, we got him going though.....I passed a squid on the inside lane yesterday...he was in shorts and a tee-shirt with his emergencies flashing...he was on the phone...I saw no emergency..... :oldcool:

5000 motorcycle deaths..hopefully on those statictics they are separating the deaths caused by left turns, nail painting, cell phones,....etc, and the TXDPS cracks down on that...like the car cutting lanes on camera...send them a ticket.:rulez:

..media focusing on the minority of riders and saying we all are riders of crazy supercharged sportbikes speeding and stunting.

It just gives the rest of us a bad name. My Wife & I do every charity event & ride we can just to show that there ARE responsible sportbike riders out there.

I don't want to watch that video - it'll just irritate me. But honestly, these a$$hat riders are a tiny fraction of the total riders in the DFW Metroplex.

Most riders use good judgement (except for the Harley posers who don't wear helmets). Most wrecks here are due to cars not paying attention and not seeing the bikes.

You know in middle/south GA not to sure of the rest of the country, but it seems to be a developing trend for the sportbike community. Sportbike riders are now ditching the fullface and leathers, and replacing them with the plastic helmets, and leather vests w/o padding to show their club colors, and shorts with timberlands or tennis shoes with the toe prophylactic.

I mean I don't wear my full leathers all the time. But you will not see me on my bike with almost 100% protective coverage, there are to many non driving idiots out there that want to hit me.

To each their own I guess, but I wish they would stop riding or at least stop wrecking...I'm tired of my insurance rates going up because of these jack holes.:banghead::banghead::banghead:
