Food for thought... The current path we are on will end freedom and liberty as we know it.

Here’s your hero, the idiot who promoted all the (unfounded) conspiracy theories along with seriously (unfounded) medical claims (he’s not a medical doctor) including COVID. Oh, he also claims to have invented email....

Instead of bitching about it prove to us who did invent e mail... I will wait your proof.

Meanwhile another virus will be released to keep control over the those that they want to enslave.

The elites have systems to enslave us... we must build systems to release us from the tyrannical powers that think they are smarter than you, me, and everyone else. Dr Shiva is a threat to the elites... don't believe it? Stay tuned... they will never quit until they are repressed and beaten at their own stupid game.

“The secret of freedom lies in educating people, whereas the secret of tyranny is in keeping them ignorant.” ― Maximilien Robespierre

You can choose ignorance for as long as you like... once the pot starts boiling over what will be your options be then?

yes a good example of this is recent history in case your memory fails you 93% of republicans believed the govt that said Iraq had weapons of mass destruction when the rest of the world laughed hysterically. High lighting an American public are like wolf in sheeps clothing toting off behind political agendas leading to an unnecessary war leading to a destruction killing hundreds of thousands of civilians who had nothing to do with it. It seem some poeple don't like being educated

The Neocons took over the stage at the United Nations when they used Colin Powell to deliver the propaganda that would justify an invasion of Iraq. I assumed that message gained favor with the people watching the story being old to them at the time. it was another failed example of nation building. The only thing missing is the millions of new immigrants that show up after we destroy a country.

A UN sanctioned war by the US and England against Iraq would undermine the ligitimacy of it's authority , I don't believe it did get sanctioned it was as rotten as it comes

Posts like I see on these threads sure don't make me want to run down to the US and take up residency....

From your own admission you belong to many other forums...you must have either pissed them all off or they are all of a like ideology for you to find the need to spread this sort of ideology to us here.

Unless you've spent time in a country where there are no civil liberties or any sort of governmental protection, you will never get the privilege of where you currently live.

All these poor first world people and their horrible lives makes me really wonder sometimes.

Keep the Covid crap where it belongs, there are several thread for that talk already.
I moved our discussion over here because the subject title is a little more in line with the discussion.

How people treat you as you interact with them is fundamental to what kind of person you are unless they are patronizing you in hopes of selling to you or getting you to do something.

I have never been kicked off any forum that I can recall. On the Corvette Forum we had a discussion about 9-11 until over 7000 post on that thread before it was closed. The subject title is labeled on the CF under "Politics, Religion & Controversy. Check it out sometime... both sides post the pros and cons on all manner of issues. It gets pretty interesting sometimes and plenty of sharp people from different walks of life share their insights and opinions. Over 300,000 people are members on the CF. I don't know if that is considered a lot or not.

I understand your comparisons about quality of life when it comes to one country as compared to another. The world has a ways to go before it works for everyone. In the mean time we can do what we can to raise the bar for more civility between individuals and nations. The unrealized potential for humanity to move forward and prosper in all the ways people can has plenty of room to grow. Comparing countries as defined by personal freedoms and liberties which most people want is a losing proposition when you have dictatorships running countries. .

Totalitarian rule will most likely never allow people to freely express themselves. Your PM has shown us a good example of how a tyrant can go all out to regain power.

So... Do people immigrate to the USA because they compare where they are now and what life appears to be in the USA?

Horrible is a 2 tier justice system in a country claiming to have one. The fallout from that system has ruined many peoples lives and killed more than a few. Reminds of a famous quote you may never have heard before... everything is a lie.

The biggest takeaway I see is, the biggest issues either of our countries face pale in comparison to other countries I've had the misfortune of being in. That is what attracts people to our countries they hear stories of the freedoms we have and the fact the governments actually care and look after us. Canada gets inundated with many immigrants each year and have our fair share of illegals which slip over from the US.

There may be governmental overreach but we've been dealing with that for centuries. People complain about one thing the government implements yet comply with all the other rules, regulations and policies the government instills....we as motorcycle and vehicle operators comply with these each and every time we get behind the wheel or swing a leg over a bike...

Where do we draw the line to what we do and do not comply with?
