Thanksgiving dinner pics

Like i said eariler it was just Jessica, Jacob, andmy self for dinner os I did not make a super huge spread.. But here are some pics from what I did make..

The Trukey breast in its brine bath (been there 24 hours)

Next we see the sauce being made for the mac and cheese followed by me grating the cheese for it.

Next we see my lovely wife poping the wnds off some fresh green beans so I can saute them in oilve oil and roasted garlic.

After the noodles were done, sauce was made and topping completed this is what the mac and cheese looked like ready to go in the oven.

Finaly we have the cooked turkey, mac and cheese, mashed taters, and some sauted green beans.

Would post pics of it all on the serving plates and os on,, but ot be honest i was hungry and did not stop to take them lol
 
Wow! I love a good mac and cheese and boy, does that look good!

1 pound elbow noodles, 24 oz(by weight) cheddar cheese
6 table spoons butter, 6 table spoons flour
2 table spoons mustard powder, 6 cups milk
1 finley chopped yellow onion, 1 table spoon paprika
2 large eggs, 2 teaspoons salt
**topping**
3 table spoons butter, 1 cup panko bread crumbs

#1 boil your noodles
#2 in a large pot melt butter wisk in flour and mustard powder for 5 min, make SURE it is free of lumps.
#3 stir in milk, onion and paprika and simmer for 10 min
#4 temper eggs and add, as well as 3/4 the cheese.
#5 fold in noodels pour into baking dish and cover with topping

**topping** melt butter and toss in bread crumbs.

Bake @350 for 30 to 35 minutes.

you can also ass chiplote peppers as well.. Makes it real good..

**** be very carefull when cooking sauce as it will burn real fast
use block cheese and grate it your self.
