Tank Bra and fading

Title says it all. I bought one and now I'm having 2nd thoughts because I don't want to have the paint fade into a two tone. I can't see how it wouldn't fade over time, but then again...I dunno about these things.

Anyone have experience in this area?

No problems on my 02 1k and have it since new. Got one on the busa and I am not worried!

only if you have cheap ass paint, otherwise no worries, had one on a car for 15 years, well not one but rather 2-3 over 15 years...LOL

I've had one on my 06 LE almost since new and all I do for maintenance is remove it occasionally and give the tank a good waxing/polishing. Once I did notice some slight yellowing but the wax removed it completely.
