Tampa - central fl people....

I hope it doesn't come down to this...
But I am looking for someone that has a laptop in my area that may be able to help me get a map loaded into my PC3USB. I have to send my work laptop in for replacement tomorrow and do not own one myself....so unless I get lucky with a local shop willing to help, I have no way to load up a power commander map.
I want to ride this coming Sunday.... but unless I can get a map that is even close in that thing, I am not going to bother.
It just seems that every tuner or shop that I call is too busy to help.
If I get everything back together friday night....then I should probably be ready to do this Saturday morning/afternoon.
Anyone?

Why not take the Power Commander back out of the bike and load the map from the computer your using to post with? Then reinstall it...

I'm a Power Commander Newb so if I'm missing the obvious...sorry.

true..if your PC is a PCIIIUSB model you should be able to use the supplied 9V power adapter (which powers up your PC enough for remote map uploads) and then just upload a map from your desktop computer via the usb port.

gett'er done! ...any tech problems or questions and just see us...your bruddahs at h.org...and we'll getcha wired and mapped!

I have a computer setup in my garage just for the PowerCommander~ Unfortunatly I run the PCIIIr, not the usb model~ So I don't have the cable needed for yours, but if you've got the cable we may be able to make it work~  I better make sure the frankenstien I put together for it has a usb port first though...
