I am curious if anyone has geared up for a taller 1st gear, or is that to much? I know a lot of the modern litter bikes go a full 20mph faster in 1st up to 100mph, I was thinking about changing my gearing to be a little higher just for a change... i've put 20,000 on this set up, but want to know if that would goof things up to much or even ultimately slow the bike down. Thanks for any info or experience storys.

The liter bikes aren't geared taller, the engines just rev very high.

If a 'busa could rev to 14K it would do 100 in first also.

I just went 16/42 in preparation for the track weekend. I don't care for it on the street. As soon as I'm off the track, back to 18/40.
