I sold a ZX10 and still had to pay some additional cash for the turbo stuff LOL. Gotta love boost. I had a hahn kit but wanted something with secondary fueling so I could run more than 1 boost level with good A/F across the board.

On pump fuel I usually run

1st: 8 psi
2nd: 12 psi
3rd: 14 psi
4th: 16 psi
5th: 16 psi
6th: 16 psi

On race gas (only once or twice so far) I run:

1st: 8 psi
2nd: 12 psi
3rd: 14 psi
4th: 17 psi
5th: 22 psi
6th: 22 psi

DIY intercoolers arent too bad.

Bell intercooler makes cores and you can order them up finished.

Ive built the bottles as its not too hard

Honestly I dont take many pics of the stuff I do. Its usually customer based and alot of my work is never repeated.

Thin sheet aluminum and some tubing are easy.

If you can weld aluminum you can do that stuff. My welder goes down in amps enough that I can weld two coke cans together without burning a hole thru them.

Which T25 ?

I have built a couple of kits ,used a gt28r,gt35r and a t3 ,
For the street the gt28 is great ,the t3 was similar sized but a little slower to spool (not a bad thing with std wheelbase)
used 316 stainless for the headers in one mild steel in another and 321 stainless in the other, in 4 yrs so far no cracks.
Also built a water/air cooler, initally wanted air/air but had trouble sourcing bent cooler core that would fit in the space needed and flow enough. A radiator specialist near me suggested water/air

Nice job! Love that you stuffed the air/water cooler right in the front of that plenum.

Do you just dump straight from your inlet pipe into the cooler and past it into the box?

It just looks like it with the boxy nature of your plenum.

I wish I knew where to find some curved intercooler cores.

I imagine if you wanted to buy enough of them, someone would bend them for you.

You can buy a complete intercooler from MCXpress, not cheap but very nice.

For a G note, Im tempted to find out if you cant just roll a flat intercooler and bottle it yourself.............

You can get a similar sized core for 2-300 bucks

Thanks Greg, thought the pic would give away the namechange,(Maj t or Maj 750)

Ecitebike its a tight fit ,i wanted top/bottom tanks in case of a temp gradient across the core, next time i wouldn't .
Air comes in thru the ramair and entres the plenum centre front, inside is slabs of radiator core operating as a radiator usually does.
only checked temps once 120deg C inlet 40 outlet at the time at ~28deg ambient, i was happy with that.
I should check on a long run someday to see if it heatsoaksand looses efficancy but i am more likely to convert the front heat exchanger to an ice cooler as its used more for track than street now.

do you mean me? or just reaper? not reaper0995? anyways, i have not actually made DIY attempts at making the cooler, but have looked thoroughly into it. costy business and no real alternatives to what is already there.

but i am homebuilding a kit myself right now. just got the majority of the header done about an hour ago

but i would say that you may want to get a little larger turbo than the t25. i bought a used evo 3 16g for like $300, and i have already wanted to go with the t3/t4 i initially had planned out. but for now, it will do......FOR NOW. haha, yeah, it seems everyone has said it, so i might as well too....

here is my album of photos on the buildup. it starts about page 4 and goes to 1. yeah, its backwards, i know....

ultimately, you need to look at how much boost you want and power, and think if your turbo could push that out or not.....flow maps help if you know the calculations....

so for mine, i have the evo 3 16g, and my goal is 250hp with 6-8psi. sounds reasonable to me because the slightly smaller version makes 200hp on a emissions passing car, and the busa motor is probably a little more efficient....and the turbo is larger and i wont have any emmisions or excess junk. so, mine is probably going to work for my hp.

take a look at 2liter setups. they flow around the same air at 6k rpms as we do at redline. take a look at their turbos and psi and hp and go from there (as rule of thumb)

you'd need to measure the compressor wheel, both the large outside diameter (near the center section), and the smaller outside diameter (furthest out from center)
