This should have been Suzuki's year...they could have cleaned up if there were a few new models. Other companies are pulling away and an increasing pace.

In the big picture (read: global sales), sportbikes, especially big cc sportbikes are small potatoes. Sales from these are not what keeps the lights on at Suzuki HQ, it's the small cc stuff that's popular in massive markets like India and Asia that fuels the Suzuki machine. I doubt they even break even from selling bikes in North America these days.

A new Hayabusa would basically be a gift from Suzuki to it's fans, and not something they'd be building for profit alone.
