stuck rear seat

I just put a alarm on my 05 busa and my rear seat is stuck i can't open it. does any one know how to open it because the key is not working at all?

Unscrew the undertail and go in from the bottom.

You did push down on the seat and try moving fwd and back rite

I packed too much crap in mine and i had to sit on the seat while turning the key to get it to unlock. Just a shot

did you forget to hook the cable back up if so you will have to pull the under tail

Sounds like the problem is you disconnected the lock cable from the from the lock mechanism, so the key is turning a disconnected cable.
On the right side of the bike, go to the rear peg and reach up under the tail... you'll have to loosen the fasteners and the pop rivets on the undertail... reach up and towards the left side of the bike and try to feel the lock mechanism... on the back of the cross bar there is a small knob, push it toward the left side of the bike (it would help if someone else is pulling up slightly on the seat)... let us know if that helps....
