You will have a ton of fun at your first track day. Don't be shy, ask lots of questions to your control riders. That is what they are there for. Pay close attention to what they tell you. It may sound silly at the time but the more you ride the more you'll see why they suggested what they did!

Read Trevitt's book multiple times. I have probably read it a dozen times and every time, I pick up something that I missed. It's very important to understand how your suspension works. It's good to know what really happens when you give this or that a little tweak in one direction or the other and what effects that tweak has on other areas of your suspension!
