Stator cover question

Any info is appreciated all!

I just took off my original rashed stator cover. It came off fine and I didn't tear the paper-ish gasket it has. Once the cover was off I tried to carefully peel the gasket off without tearing it, which turned out to be impossible.

My question is this:

Can I use a standard liquid gasket product, or do I have to go get a Suzuki replacement gasket? Or go gasket-less even?

Thanks in advance everyone!

I know some people who do not run a gasket the just use a sealant. I was told that they were having problems with them leaking using the paper gaskets. I have changed mine and never had a leak, I used another paper gasket; They are so cheap it was hard not to. You need to seal that cover no matter what because your oil will come out if you do not. What you use to seal it is up to you, opinions will vary.
