spring/shock question

im wanting to go 4in over on my gen2 and wanted to lower it a bit, was wondering would i have to adjust my spring/shock also. im 245 and i dont race it and dont ride passengers alot.

You will need a new spring.I went with a 700 lb spring in the back for my 6 over arm and lowered 2 inches.At 245 you may need a 900lb spring but then it will be real stiff.
