As the record shows, Superbike racers don't make the best MotoGP racers.
Yeah I know, Nicky won a champioship. You can rationalize it however you want, but it boiled down to luck as much as skill.
With the 1000cc bikes coming next year, and hopefully some trimming of the electronics (we'll see on that part), Ben may have a better chance against the computer riders like Jorge, Dani, and Casey.

Pardini...that can be said about all people...don't ya think?

More so as you get further back in the pack.

Ben's problem is not aero. We've seen him close gaps and maintain a gap when he won. It's hard to say what the perfect height is to smooth air flow over any given GP bike, but shorter isn't necessarily better. It's better to completely fill the void between screen and tail than to have gaps in between.

Spies needs to learn how to start better and quit letting himself be squeezed out in the first two corners.
