Hi guys, i have an 08 org/blk. All stock except k/n filter and yoshi slip ons. Was looking at owners bible and said to replace plugs at 7500miles.Well i have 13233 miles and said okay time to change, mind you bike is running like day one, smooth. Pulled one plug out and it's a denso iridium 27d. Owners bible said it was NGK???? Do i have a special blessed bike?? I have heard iridium last 30000 miles?? What do you guys think. I had a 03 busa that gave me 64500 miles.Plugs were NGK and replaced every 15000 miles. Thanks guys for the time:thumbsup:

Funny, I just replaced mine tonight with around 13.5K on the clock and they were fine.

I was into the bike with all the plastics off, gas tank lifted, and air box removed so I definitely changed them, but did they need it...not really.

Having seen them at 13.5K, I would probably go 20 to 25K no problem. The air filter however...wow, change your air filter now if you have over 10K on the bike!

Don't waste money replacing top of the line plugs given to you by Suzuki!! I would also say 25,000 miles. I would either go with Iridiums or NGK Palladiums. From my two stroke world nothing NGK came out with over the last 30 years beat out the Palladium plugs. Not Platinum, gold or anything else. With snowmobiles the Palladium plugs literally perform head and shoulders above any other plug. I'd like to try them in a four stroke engine......
