My dealer mentioned 1500cc's also, but did not give a model year.

It's all speculation, and it's nice to dream, the one thing that most can agree on right now is that it's time for the 1000cc repli-racers to get another massive displacement Suzuki smack-down.

Hmmm...

What I would wish for beyond MORE POWER:

More comfy grips.

A more comfy seat.

A slightly longer wheelbase to help keep the front end down if Suzuki adds even more power.

Drop the footpegs just a hair and raise the bars just a hair.

Leave more clearance for the brake and clutch to allow for more downward adjustment without banging into the fairing.

An adjustable windscreen would be nice... or maybe two of them that are easily interchanged... one for touring and one for "kill".

It don't matter what Suzuki brings out in 06, or after. Those of us that like our bikes will keep them, those of us who don't will get new ones......
If Vespa brought out a bike I liked more than my Busa, I'd go get one as soon as I could. The Busa is NOT the be-all end-all of motorcycles, it's just what we like to ride.

I personally was there and give my expertise (BarneyFife) and they took my advice and decided to make 1500ccs and about 70 lbs lighter....yeppers you know Andy you was standing there when Gomer came in and told it all....Hey Andy you think we can get a Hayabusa police bike....I rode alot as a kid...yeppers I did....roflmao..

I heard Suzuki bought the rights to the Dodge Tomahawk and they are adding a fairing to it.

I would like to see them keep the time-tested 1300cc engine, and just work on making the bike a bit lighter overall. Perhaps some updated styling, but very suggestive of the current generation busas would be nice.

For anyone having doubts that they're going to change the bike... don't. There's a reason that the 2006 gsxr 1000 is already up on suzuki's webpage and the busa isn't... changes are coming. How significant? Well, that waits to be seen.
