Smog-port block-off covers?

Newbie over here, hope you haven't beaten this to death yet:

Does any of you know a source for covers for those air-injection ports just above where the exhaust headers attach?

I thought TBR had them but I got no reply on my E-mail (maybe they just ignore it and I'm forced to go through the distributor over here in the Netherlands (Western-Europe)?

Would love to get rid of all that plumbing for Suzuki's PAIR system and over here it's not even illegal. Would also make it look a lot better if I ever decide to get rid of (a part of) the fairing to show more engine.

I know my way around "maintenance" tools alright, but tools for "creating" things is something quite differently for me.

By the way, one of the reasons for this nickname of mine is that I have this tendency to over-tighten things all the time to such an extent that I'd better ALWAYS use a torque-wrench on everything!

As for Nico Bakker from Heerhugowaard, I've had him do something for me once, but he didn't do as I asked him, it took 3 times as long as promised and price was double of what he had told me beforehand, so I gladly pass on this idea of yours. 8-)

Just make em yourself. Either cut of the tube on the original ones and weld them shut or make four new ones of steel. How hard can it be ?
I tried to ask KEVTC to make them but he didnt respond ( see the tread: BILLET ACCESSORIES ).

Yngve, depends on ones background/environment

I don't have the tools/materials/skills to do that myself.

But ... I have them on order from TBR so I'm done with this ... thanks.

With a name like Animal I just assumed U knew your way around tools :)
Why dont U use some of the Dutch peoles to make those covers?
Nico Bakker in Heerhugoward can make some. ( Ok I know he is a chassis specialist but he is quite handy with a tig-welder :) ( I know I have had 3 Nicos and been at his place10 or more times ))
One caution though. Be prepred to pay at least 3 times what he qoutes and it will take 4 times as long as he says....
hehehehe

Does anyone have any conclusive evidence on how much hp its worth? I too would like to do this mod and I was hopeing someone would sell a kit for it. I'm not exactly motorcycle mechanically inclined.
