Small debris in motor

Hey guys i'm in need of some assistance. I had to take the valve cover apart to replace the valve cover gasket since it blew on me yesterday. Dissembly went extremely easy and well until some dust and very very small debris went into the motor while i was taking the valve cover off. I don't want to take my chances and run the motor w/ the debris in it so is there anything i can do to flush all those things out?

If you can still see it just use a rag or cotton swabs to revove it. Small dust pieces will be trapped in the oil filter with circulating oil. I wouldnt flush it out with anything. but would take it apart to clean it out if it is a lot of debris.
The oil pump also has a screen to keep debris from getting into the system.
