Sleepless and other 1000 mile'rs

Some kind of throttle lock or cruise control will help reduce the wrist and hand fatigue. I never squeeze the tank. It's a bad habit you need to break later I'd you are going to do any cornering. Press down on the foot pegs instead.

Here's a tip....I'm not sure if you guys have tried it before but I can cruise for hours without gripping the throttle. While cruising, four of my fingers are resting on the brake lever (fingers straight, not bent) and my thumb's the only thing that's wrapped around the throttle. I suggest you try it and see if it works for you guys.

I agree on not squeezing the tank. Like I said, staying relaxed is the key.

By the way, it also helps to move your head up/down and side-to-side every few minutes so that the back of your neck doesn't end up hurting at the end of the ride.
