Shortys exhaust question

The problem with shortys is that they loose back pressure/power so would it help if you block off the left side after the xpipe to increase restriction & just use the right side only exhaust with a shorty? or get a PCV? but where do you get a map for a shorty?

it's not so much about backpressure as it is alignment of pressure pulses in the exhaust system. it's too complicated to explain without pictures. carbibles.com, in the exhaust section should have something.

put some baffles in them, it'll add back some of the backpressure you've lost and disrupt the pulses.
