I'm thinking of doing this with my carbon yoshi pipe too. Is it possible to cut and drill the carbon fiber without it splintering really bad? Also, are both end caps attached the same? I'd like the emblem to be centered if/when I do it. Will it affect my tune enough that a new tune is required, or just beneficial? Thanks!

Here's a pic of mine that is cut 4" but I'll probably take it down even more. I haven't retuned anything and it still runs amazing. But most if all it sounds much better. I have the Yosh Tri-Oval with the carbon can.
