Riding with out a muffler?

I was wondering if I could damage my Kawasaki ZZR-600 riding around without a muffler? Not the whole exhaust, just the muffler.

yes, there could be damage, to the already shaky reputation sportbikes have regarding public opinion. making motorcycles super loud may appeal to some, who have an intellectual capacity similar to beavis and butthead. but if someone desperately needs attention, they should figure out a different way to get people to look in their direction.

Get a noise machine, really. With tinnitus, you need a little background noise to help cancel the crickets, chirps, ringing, etc...

I have mine set on ocean waves, sometimes a babbling brook......works great.
